Ally O’Connor, President, NxtEvent Professional event marketer Ally O’Connor and Jacqueline have designed the first Beachcomber Tours to be introduced in the summer of 2005 – at Low Tide only! Initially, the tours will be offered to private groups coming from Boston and other areas as part of major conventions. However, other proposals will be considered upon request. Beachcombing for “sea glass” or “beach glass” can be a free form activity or can be very specific if you know what you are looking for! As Cape Ann is one of the few seaside communities that can still boast of an abundance of glass, the beachcombing experience here will surprise and delight even the most advanced glass hunters! This walking & talking session is designed to educate the new “comber” on the where, what, and why to look for these precious shards. Noted, Sea Glass Historian, Carole Lambert will provide real-time assessment and afterward, over a local cappuccino, she will show some of her premier pieces and discuss their history. Walk away with a signed copy of Carole Lambert’s book. |
